Writing Despite Computers and Programmes 
Roger, sometimes being painfully honest can get the point across. You reminded me of “young” curmudgeon I used to work with. My wife and I were throwing a party, so we invited many work colleagues, including him. I thought it would be good for him to get out and meet people. I encouraged him to come. Later, when I was in earshot and he purposefully said for me to hear, “I don’t want to go to that stupid party,” I sidled up to him and said very tersely, but politely, “Then don’t come.” Keith

Sometimes I have been ‘herded’ into social gatherings but have made it my civic duty to be at least polite and casual.

Heavy and Insufferable Dignity……’There is a world of difference between a finger raised in making a cogent and irrefutable point and one which made when looking at Donald Trump’😐. In the former it adds a certain dramatic weight to the argument🙂 In the case of the latter, it is all he deserves. 😠

There is much wisdom in Dr. Seuss books … remember when I sent Yertle the Turtle to Trump? I never did get a ‘thank-you’ note for that. 🤔 I had hoped he would gain some knowledge from the book, but either he didn’t (couldn’t) read it, or he didn’t understand it. Sigh. Jill-with-a-Will tried!
