The only difference between you and a successful author, quite frankly is luck
They got the agent or the editor in a good mood on the right day
That’s my opinion anyway.

Writing Despite Computers and Programmes 
Roger, I find it interesting the number of publishers who turn down an author before one gives him or her a chance. I would add an author’s “persistence” can help find that lucky one. Keith

Think of all those who turned down Rowling’s books before one said ‘Hmmm….I wonder’
